PROPERTY TAXES LEVIED ON THE ASSESSMENT LIST OF OCTOBER 1, 2022 WERE DUE AND PAYABLE ON JULY 1, 2023 AND MUST BE PAID ON OR BEFORE AUGUST 1, 2023 TO AVOID AN INTEREST CHARGE.

Real property bills are payable in two installments as follows: 1st half on July 1, 2023; 2nd half on January 1, 2024. Personal property and motor vehicle bills are payable in full on July 1, 2023.

IF PAYMENT IS NOT POSTMARKED OR RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE AUGUST 1, 2023, INTEREST AT THE RATE OF 1 ½ % PER FULL OR PARTIAL MONTH, FROM THE DUE DATE, OR $2.00, WHICHEVER IS GREATER, WILL BE CHARGED.

FAILURE TO RECEIVE A BILL DOES NOT EXEMPT YOU FROM PAYING INTEREST OR PENALTIES         

(Sec. 12-130 - Connecticut General Statutes).

 IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A BILL, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REQUEST ONE FROM THE TAX OFFICE. REQUESTS FOR BILLS AND/OR QUESTIONS ABOUT PROPERTY ASSESSEMENTS AND TAXES SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO:

GOVERNMENT CENTER, 888 WASHINGTON BLVD., STAMFORD, CT.

IN PERSON PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED DURING REGULAR OFFICE HOURS FROM 8:00 AM TO 3:45 PM. (EXCLUDING WEEKENDS).
