The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Richard Blumenthal, Blumenthal for Connecticut, refunded $240 to Ariel Nessel on Sept. 8, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Blumenthal for Connecticut has refunded $18,040 total since April 1.
