Falafel Taco opens new location on Greenwich Avenue

Falafel Taco started with The fusion of Mexican and Israeli Cuisine.  Jonathan, a chef with many years of experience, was entertaining his children who were vegan, on how to make falafel, pita, hummus, tahini and israeli salad, at home.  It was a lot of fun, especially making the pita and watching it puff up in the oven.  Rosie, who is from Veracruz Mexico, thoroughly enjoyed these moments.  When the first location in Pleasantville, NY near the Jacob Burns Film center was available we jumped on it. Not sure what to specialize in, Falafels or Tacos, one of the kids said, make it a mash up and call it Falafel Taco!

After 3 years at our Wheeler Avenue location, and full into the covid era, we came across a location that was available in Greenwich.  It was an incredible opportunity to find a location at 28 Greenwich Avenue, we couldn't turn it down.

We have been amazed at how welcoming the Greenwich community has been for us.  Rosie and Jonathan Love their second store, it is really cute.  From the Moms, kids, investment professionals, first responders, employees looking for a healthy quick bite, we are blessed to have had a successful first few months in Greenwich and hope that our relationship with the community grows deeper.

Falafel Taco has something for everyone.  Mediterranean, Middle East and Mexican fusion.  We give customers a choice of Israeli Pita (baked daily) Laffa bread (an Iraqi flat bread rolled into a burrito) or stone ground soft corn tortillas (gluten free).  We have many options for vegans, gluten free, as well as Lamb, Turkey, Beef Brisket, and Fish Tacos and bowls just to name a few
