Artful Arrangements: Heirloom Dahlias

As part of the Greenwich Historical Society “Discover Greenwich”  Program, join us as we explore the history of and take floral  inspiration from Constant MacRae’s masterfully designed floral  arrangement. Our floral design workshop will be guided by the graceful  lines of her award-winning floral styling with the  focus on dazzling  dahlias, the grande dame of fall flowers. Constant’s masterful vision of  movement of line will inspire us as we create a floral design busting  with movement, color and garden glamor. The fine art of floral design  will come to life with lush, freshly cut heirloom dahlias from Beldon  Hill Gardens located in Wilton CT. The Art of Flower Arrangement dahlia  workshop will present the principles and simple techniques of floral  design through demonstration, discussion and step-by-step hands-on  instruction along with tips on keeping flowers looking fresh and long  lasting…ensuring floral design art success.
