As part of our “Discover Greenwich” Program, join the Greenwich Historical Society in a celebration of summer as we highlight beautiful and historic parks throughout the community. Gather with family and friends to learn about the history and experience the natural wonder of Montgomery Pinetum Park.
In 1922, Colonel Robert Montgomery and his wife Nell purchased an estate known as Wild Acres, and over the next 30 years they shaped the landscape. Today, the Pinetum is home to the Greenwich Botanical Center and greenhouses. It is considered by the Town of Greenwich to be combined with Pomerance Park.
Reserve your picnic today and pick it up at our museum store before heading out for an alfresco dining experience in the summer sunshine.
Picnics provided by Happiness Is catering.
