New media artist Balam Soto combines cutting-edge, digital  technologies with traditional media. At this workshop, students will  construct a light sculpture that can be programmed with a 32-bit  controller board. This project was inspired by Balam's current work in  progress, Forest of Light, which will be unveiled in June at the Five Points Galley in Torrington, CT.
