Last week, the Stamford Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony at Charter Communications in Stamford which featured speakers CT Gov. Ned Lamont, Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons, and Charter Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Tom Rutledge.
The event celebrated the opening of Charter Communications new corporate headquarters and highlighted the Charter's growth over the years on its way to becoming the second largest cable provider in the United States. Charter had 16,000 employees and served 5 million customers when it moved to Stamford in 2012 from St. Louis, Mo. We look forward to watching its continued growth here in our great city!
