Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Donate Blood in Honor of Rachel
Rachel is in for a long battle with Leukemia (A.L.L. T-Cell) an aggressive form of blood cancer that targets your white blood cells making it difficult for your body to fight off infections. While there is a very high cure rate for this form of cancer, the treatment process is intense. She has fought a strong and courageous battle against this and other health issues, but feels it is time to start giving back. She has received many blood transfusions over the course of treatment and asks that you help her in replenishing the blood bank which has been so very important to her during this process . Please take a moment and join AAA for this important event – and consider donating your blood to the American Red cross in honor of Rachel.
