On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Stamford High School standout Diego Wirz’s current college team, the Mercy Mavericks, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Adelphi Panthers.

The game took place at Cal Ripken Experience. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. at Cal Ripken Experience against Adelphi Panthers.
