On Thursday, May 8, former Stamford High School standout Charlee Horton’s current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Goldey-Beacom Lightning.

The game took place at Jackson Athletic Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Lightning this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 9 at 4:30 p.m. at Jackson Athletic Complex against SNHU Penmen.
