On Saturday, March 8, former Stamford High School standout Diego Wirz’s current college team, the Mercy Mavericks, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the West Chester Golden Rams.

The game took place at Mercy Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Rams this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2:30 p.m. at Mercy Field against West Chester Golden Rams.
