On Thursday, March 20, former Brunswick School standout Jonathan Sigurdsson’s current collegiate team the NYU Violets won 72-60 against the Washington Bears in the NCAA Division III Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, this was the first game against the Washington Bears during the championship.
The NYU Violets’ next game will take place on Saturday, March 22 at 4 p.m. in Allen County War Memorial Coliseum against Trinity Bantams.
Jonathan Sigurdsson’s hometown is Scarsdale and game position is center.
