On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Stamford High School standout Diego Wirz’s current college team, the Mercy Mavericks, lost 8-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Franklin Pierce Ravens.

The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex. This was their second matchup against the Ravens this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. at Cal Ripken Experience against UNC Pembroke Braves.
